Veyra Weekly – Vol. 17
This week we spotlight Lowkey Industries’ Book Burners Jacket and Ux Girl’s In My Dreams Tee — two pieces that fuse statement-making messages with experimental design.
Lowkey Industries – Book Burners Jacket
Originally designed in FW17 by the late creative director Drew Shifter, the Book Burners Jacket makes its return with even sharper urgency. Cut in 400 GSM duck canvas with embroidered graphics, a corduroy collar, satin lining, boxy cropped fit, and YKK zips, the jacket is built tough.
But the garment is more than its construction — it’s a manifesto. Inspired by Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, the design warns of a world where critical thought is drowned by noise and distraction. It’s not just a jacket, but a call to wake up.

Ux Girl – In My Dreams Backless Tee
Ux Girl’s In My Dreams Tee merges oversized comfort with subversive detailing. The faded DTG graphic across the front sets a dreamlike tone, while the open back cut transforms the silhouette into something daring and unexpected.
It’s casual yet striking, perfect for layering or wearing as a standalone piece that flips the rules of a “basic” tee.
